Koru Networking Night is a chance for college students and grads in our program to get to know executives and hiring managers from great local companies. Every so often, there’s a stand-out. As we tell the program participants, people have been hired on the spot at networking night. While everybody brought it last night, the stand-out was clear. It was Odie, Odie the pug. Odie knew this was his time to shine and wowed everybody with his active listening skills.
During the informal networking, he worked the room and met 10 new people.
Odie even set up a few informational interviews for later this week. Way to go, Odie.
He had some trouble “breaking into groups” at first.
But played it off cool by being all, “Oh look, something interesting over there.”
By the end of the night, he was exhausted.
But rested easy knowing he totally crushed it.
That’ll do Odie. That’ll do.
