Graduation is coming. Probably sooner than you’d like. But worry not, we’ve got your back. This summer, Koru is running immersive business programs in Seattle, San Francisco, and Boston designed to help you find a career direction that’s a fit for your skills and passions and get job-ready.
And drum roll … We’re happy to welcome two new partners into the Koru family!
Airbnb is joining the Koru Network of hiring companies, teaming up with us for our June San Francisco Program. Founded in 2008, Airbnb is a top community marketplace for people to list, discover, and book unique accommodations around the world. They operate in more than 34,000 cities and 190 countries, with a home base in San Francisco. Their work culture values creativity, teamwork, and the excessive use of post-it notes – values we definitely share here at Koru!
Zillow is joining our Seattle Network, and we’re stoked to run our first program with them this June. Long story short, Zillow is the place to be right now in Seattle. Founded in 2006, Zillow leads the real estate marketplace by empowering consumers with data, inspiration, and knowledge around their home. They boast a living database of more than 110 million U.S. homes and an office culture that can’t be beat.
What do these partnerships mean?
We get asked a lot by applicants what it means to be a partner company. Here’s our short answer: It means that for a few weeks this summer, these companies will open their doors to a gritty cohort of college students and recent grads and give them real business challenges to tackle as a team.
The purpose: to let the grads showcase their potential, not by submitting a resume online, but rather by showing what they can do. That’s what it’s all about. And that’s why Korus stand out from other applicants.
Cheers, Team Koru
Koru helps college students and recent grads launch meaningful careers through an immersive business program and free online job finder.
