What’s a day in the life of a project manager?
I work for an artist based in Beijing. I spend most of my time along with 4 other coworkers at his studio. Every morning, I spend around 3 hours in the morning writing emails, then I go over emails / questions / requests, send out more emails … then, I create excel sheets, research art exhibit proposals, or project proposals, write artwork descriptions, try to organize my hard drive, enter scheduling (production, shipping, installation, exhibit, deinstall, return shipments) into Smartsheet (an online project management tool). I take notes on Evernote about new proposals.
What do you love about your job?
The projects are amazing!
