I’m sure it’s happened to you. That moment towards the end of the interview when the interviewer asks if you have any questions and you smile, shrug, and say, “No, I’m all good!”
When you prepare for an interview, don’t just prepare for the questions you’ll be asked. There will always be an opportunity for you to ask questions, so be ready.
Interviews are meant to be a two way conversation. Always jump at the chance to ask your interviewer more about the job or company. By doing so, you’ll look more interested and prepared for the job, and you’ll also gain a better understanding of the position and whether or not it would be a good fit for you.
Not all questions, however, are good questions. In fact, asking one ignorant question could kill your chances of getting the job no matter how well the rest of the interview goes.
